Founded in 2006 by His Majesty King Charles III, Turquoise Mountain is a charitable organization supporting artisan communities affected by conflict, with a mission to protect and revitalize cultural heritage.
The organization partners with skilled weavers across Myanmar, focusing on supporting women artisans through the production of handwoven textiles inspired by traditional longyi patterns unique to the country’s ethnic groups.
Cora originates from the Mro of Western Myanmar.
