Gamone Handwoven Silk Acheik
Acheik is derived from the Burmese term luntaya acheik: luntaya, meaning “100 shuttles,” refers to the intricate weaving technique, while acheik describes the undulating, wave-like motifs.
Once exclusive to the Burmese royal court, these handwoven silk designs are now available internationally through Turquoise Mountain’s collaboration with master weavers in Myanmar, supporting artisan livelihoods and preserving the country’s textile traditions.
